The HSRC Annual Conference is the Council's flagship event that brings together scholars, policymakers, practitioners and partners from across South Africa and the world.
The 2026 conference theme, “The Age of Digitality and the Future of Society”, asks how digital transformation is reshaping knowledge, ethics and the role of the humanities and social sciences and what that means for the society we are building.
